Finishing The Trip

For the final stop of my trip, I have decided to go to Paris, France. Paris is the capital and largest city of France. The longitude of Paris is 48ºN and the latitude is 2ºE. Also, Paris is in northern France. Summer days in France are usually warm and the temperature is about 59-68ºF. In the winter, however, it is usually cold with a temperature above freezing at 45ºF. Paris is the head of barge and ship navigation on the Seine and is the fourth most important port in France. The human-environment interaction in Paris is bad because some of the leading exports of France are machinery, transportation equipment, aircraft, plastics, and chemicals.
Paris has a population of about 12,089,098 people. Paris is one of the world’s major global cities. One of the most important buildings in Paris is the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is a nickname for La dame de fer. The Eiffel Tower is also the tallest building in France.

One thing I would like to do before I leave Paris is see the Eiffel Tower. I would also like to see more buildings in the city of Paris. Besides the Eiffel Tower there are many more buildings and monuments in Paris.

Then To

For stop number 3 I have decided to go to Rome, Italy. Rome is the capital city in Italy. Its longitude is is 41ºN ands its latitude is 12ºE. Rome is in the continent of Europe which is right next to Asia. In the summer in Rome it is usually about 86ºF but in the winter it is a much cooler 55ºF. Rome is the 52nd richest country by GDP. Rome has the largest airport in Italy and has the vast majority of major Italian companies. Rome’s human-environment interaction is good because many of Italy’s exports are food and not oil.
The population of Rome is approximately 2,777,979 people. Most people in Rome are Roman Catholic. There are about 900 churches in Rome and Rome’s main cathedral is Basilica of St. John Lateran. Football (soccer) is the most popular sport in Rome. The city hosted the final games of the 1934 and 1990 Fifa World Cup. These games took place at Stadio Olimpico, one of the largest in Europe, with a capacity of over 70,000. Also, Rome has the Colosseum which is the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire. Lastly, Rome is one of the most important tourist destinations in the world.

Before I leave Rome I would like to see the Basilica of St. John Lateran cathedral. This is Rome’s Cathedral and I would also like to see other churches in Rome, so I can learn about the religion in Rome. I would also like to see the remainders of the Colosseum before I leave Rome.

Next Stop

For my second I stopped at London, England. London is the capital of England, and the capital of the United Kingdom. England is in the United Kingdom with Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. In London during the winter it is usually cold and it snows about 4-5 times a year. On the other, during the summer, London's temperature is usually about 24 °C (75.2 °F). London’s longitude is 51ºN and it latitude is 0ºW.  London's human-environment interaction is not so good because two of their leading exports are chemicals and fuels.

London is a leading global city. There are approximately 7,825,200 in London. The majority of Londoners are Christian. London also still has a royal family. London’s main sport is football (soccer) but rugby, and cricket are also popular sports.

Before I leave London I would like see Buckingham Palace. I would also like to ride the London Eye which is the largest ferris wheel in Europe. I hope I can get to these two places before I leave London.

Beginning the Journey

For the first stop of my trip, I have visited Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona is a city in Spain which is in Western Europe. Barcelona's longitude is 41ºN and its Latitude is 2ºE. The  main religion in Barcelona is Roman Catholic. A good way to get to Barcelona is by airplane. Barcelona’s airport is the second-largest in Spain, and the largest on the Mediterranean coast. Barcelona's human-environment interaction is bad because their leading exports are machinery and motor vehicles.

The two official language of Barcelona are Catalan and Spanish. The currency in Barcelona is the euro. Barcelona is Europe's fourth best city for business and the fastest improving European city. Also, the people in Barcelona love their soccer and have FC Barcelona, the second richest soccer team in the world. Barcelona has a population of between 4,200,000 and 4,500,000 people. Lastly, Barcelona is the 16th-most-visited city in the world.

One new understanding I expect to learn about Barcelona is how the business is in this city. I would also like to understand more about the Roman Catholic religion before I leave here. My last experience I want to leave Barcelona with is to watch a FC Barcelona soccer game at The Camp Nou, the largest stadium in Europe.
